WHAT ARE CROWNS, BRIDGES, INLAYS AND ONLAYS?
If your dentist decides the damage to your tooth is too large to be treated with a filling, an inlay or onlay could be the best option. Inlays are created to fit the size and shape of the cavity while onlays cover the cusp.
A crown, also known as a cap, fits over a damaged tooth. It looks and feels like a normal tooth.
A bridge is used to treat patients with at least one missing tooth. In most cases, it incorporates two crowns with a porcelain false tooth in the middle. We place the bridge by attaching the crowns to the teeth on either side of the gap.
We create natural-looking restorations that are a perfect match for your existing teeth.
